Villa Guri is a triple property development in the Istrian Peninsular of Croatia. The web site was commissioned for an advert that was in a Croatian Property magazine. On monitoring the web site it's received over 1000 hits since its launch in February 2008 with all properties now successfully sold. It is a simple HTML web site that has adopted the style of a magazine.
Mood Board is an application that is based on the principles of a design Mood Board. Demonstrated at New designers in 2007. It is a paper-style interface where you can drag almost any file type directly on to the application from your desktop. The application will support Images, Video, Audio, Rich text and links to external source. You can then simply arrange the media any way you like and present it.

(Not Complete) A Google Map based online Flight Planner called Fly Biggles, a project in liaison with Euro Control, Brussels. This project was started in 2007 for Get IT Noticed – TechEthika. It has been such an interesting project involving nearly two years design and development. The experience gained has been worth it from learning about aviation data, AIXM (Aeronautical Exchange Model) and attending meetings in Brussels. The web site has been developed using PHP, AJAX and PostgreSQL. The AIXM data is extracted using a Java XQuery application that I developed.

Kaleidoscope Sound and Light is a Bournemouth based event equipment store. The web site is a shop catalogue which is fully updateable by the client via my own bespoke content management system (CMS). It provides the clients with full control on all the site content. This has given Kaleidoscope an up to-date web presence for a business that has been established for over 30 years in Bournemouth.

Interactive Express Menu for a Restaurant or Fast food shop. Demonstrated at New designers in 2006. The menu will run on a touch or can be controled via a separate control unit. The menu is XML Driven and can be updated easily via a bundled application developed using Visual Basic. The menu has been designed to run as a kiosk appliaction, additional functions were written to allow receipt printing, price totaling and order numbering.

Evalu8 Mystery Shopping is a company dedicated to evaluating shopping experiences using a mystery shopper. The web site is to market their services to becoming a mystery shopper and to businesses that require statistics through online surveying and marketing strategies. My role was to design the interface for the web site under instruction from the clients.

Bonobo.tv is an internet TV web site for presenting videos about the planet and the world we live in. I have developed a Flash video player for the web site to view streaming FLV video content. The standalone player will list the video categories through an XML data source and present a menu with a series of videos to choose from. The player has functionality to behave much like a media application including full video controls and full screen capabilities.

As part of my Professional Project unit I was given the opportunity to work with Taylor James to design a set of web page templates for a new online retouching service. I liaised with Glen Taylor and his team to produce design templates using Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop to a specific style related to the Taylor James Branding.

EditFX is a Digital composting and editing company. The Flash web site has been designed especially for video using Flash Video format to provide fast loading video clips. The layout resembles a video editing environment like After Effects. The site is can be fully updated with a user control panel to upload media and add content to an XML data source. There is also a client login system too where clients can access work privately through the site.
I was the technical member in a group project to produce a CD Rom for the Singapore Trade Mission to promote Dorset to other countries. I was responsible to collate all content using Flash 8; I developed a content Rich projector combined with MDM Zinc (SWF2EXE) to extend the features of the Final product.
National Hotels is an affiliate based web site using data provided for Hotel Club affiliates. I was chosen to re-design the web site adding new features; I first began with new a branding style leading on to the development of the web site. The web site also features complex filters to search for accommodation. The web site was developed in PHP with a MySQL backend database.

A database driven Flash site displaying links for E-content award winners in the UK. The World Summit Awards is sponsored by the United Nations and features awards for E-content and creativity around the World. I am proud to have produced, design and built the site for UK Judge Dr Charles Kreil.

A group project to storyboard, film and edit two adverts for a spoof product. The first advert would be advertising the product, the other advert would show reasons against the product in a particulary humourous way.
Maisons en France is a web site to advertise a Holiday Gite (home) in Nontron, France. The web site includes an up datable calendar to show availability for booking. There is a booking form too where users can check and reserve dates using the dynamic calendar system. Once they have selected the start and end dates for their stay the site will process a printable page with real time result showing the total for there stay based on season costs.

The development of a web application to promote London West sides, creative arts and communities. Using the Google Maps API as the interface structure for the site, it also has a MySQL/ PHP and AJAX backend to provide the map with data. The system can also be managed through an admin control page.

I was given the opportunity to work on a great project to design and produce an Inspiration Timeline based on new media 1905 to 2006 by Bob Cotton. The dynamic Flash website presents a fully searchable timeline interface with the capabilities to edit and add your own new media historical date like a Wiki.

A group project to develop and produce a Chat Room using Flash and Flash Media Server. The Chat room named Chat Theatre would be used by Children and allow them to rolplay a character from Peter Pan.
CELT based at Southampton University provide assessments for students with learning and physical disabilities. The site provides an online application to help students apply for leaning grants and equipment. The site has been specially built to work with screen readers for the blind, also text size, colour and background colour can be adjusted to suit the users needs.

A student portfolio Flash site. Selina Birnie is a 3D light designer, I wanted to show off her talents by developing a simple interface that will present her work effectively.
To capture and manipulate images in a unit to learning the fundemaetal uses of Adobe Photoshop. The image had to visually describe a Journey, I chose Music. After the image was created I then created a 15 second animation of the journey using After Effects.
This site is now in its second phase of development. The site is to promote his Mobile Disco business. Frequently Updated galleries can be managed by the site owner easily with the option of any picture viewed by the user can be sent to an E-mail system.
